On behalf of GHC, it was an honor to stand in solidarity with California’s vibrant Muslim community at the 15th Annual Muslim Day at the Capitol.
We commend CAIR-CA and all the dedicated advocates who came together to champion critical legislation that honors religious freedom, protects civil liberties, and ensures our state policies reflect the true diversity of California.
GHC stands firmly in support of recognizing Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha as state holidays, limiting government surveillance that targets vulnerable communities, and preserving inclusive education that celebrates our rich cultural heritage. We look forward to continuing our partnership with CAIR and the broader community to advance policies that promote justice, equity, and dignity for all Californians.

Who We Are
The Global Humanitarian Council (GHC) has been established to confront atrocities, injustices, and violations of human rights inflicted upon innocent individuals across the globe.
Our mission is rooted in the timeless Islamic principle of Amr bil Ma’roof wa Nahy ‘anil Munkar — enjoining good and forbidding wrong. Guided by this principle, we commit ourselves to:
- Upholding justice and dignity for the oppressed.
- Providing spiritual, legal, and financial support to victims of tyranny and conflict.
- Managing entrusted resources with integrity, transparency, and compassion.

Why GHC?
The Need for Change
The ongoing genocide in Gaza has painfully exposed the failure of current international systems of accountability. Despite immense suffering, most Muslim countries and organizations have been unable to deliver meaningful support to war-torn populations.
In response, GHC seeks to revive and promote the fundamental teachings of Islam as a framework for establishing justice, peace, and a harmonious global society.

While our vision is global, our initial priority is Pakistan, where a foreign-imposed, brutal regime continues to commit grave human rights violations. The people of Pakistan suffer under systemic oppression, and urgent intervention is critical.
Saving this nation is not only essential for its people but also vital for the Ummah and humanity at large.

Relevant: Expands reach and effectiveness of humanitarian services.
Time-Bound: Within 36 months.
SMART Statement:
Within 36 months, GHC will establish formal partnerships with at least 10 organizations to enhance delivery of legal, financial, and spiritual support services.
Increase Public Awareness & Advocacy
Specific: Raise awareness of human rights violations and GHC’s mission.
Measurable: Reach 100,000 individuals through campaigns, events, and digital platforms.
Achievable: Use social media, educational webinars, and community events.
Relevant: Mobilizes public support and advocacy for justice.
Time-Bound: Within 24 months.
SMART Statement:
Within 24 months, GHC will reach at least 100,000 individuals through awareness campaigns, educational programs, and digital outreach focused on global human rights injustices.
